Event Waiver & Release
Please read carefully. By registering for any Fit City event, you agree to this waiver.
Important: This waiver applies to all Fit City events and activities. By registering for any event, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms below.
Acknowledgement of Risk
I acknowledge that participation in Fit City events and activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, environmental hazards and potential injury. I voluntarily participate with full knowledge of these risks.
Assumption of Risk
I assume all risks associated with my participation in Fit City events, including but not limited to falls, collisions, weather conditions and health-related incidents. I accept full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage that may occur.
Medical Fitness
I confirm that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent me from safely participating in Fit City activities. I have consulted with a medical professional if I have any concerns about my participation.
Release and Waiver
I hereby release, waive and discharge Fit City, its organisers, partners, sponsors and volunteers from any and all claims, demands or causes of action arising from my participation in Fit City events, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Photography & Media
I grant Fit City the right to use photographs, video and other media taken during events for promotional, marketing and educational purposes without further compensation or notification.
Emergency Medical Treatment
In the event of injury or illness during a Fit City event, I authorise the organisers to arrange emergency medical treatment at my expense. I accept responsibility for any associated medical costs.
Agreement
By registering for and participating in any Fit City event, I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to be bound by this waiver and release.
Guardian Consent
If the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must complete this section in addition to the waiver above.
Participation Consent
I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, hereby grant permission for the minor named above to participate in Fit City events and activities. I confirm that I have read and understood the Event Waiver & Release and agree that its terms apply to the minor's participation.
Medical Treatment Authorisation
In the event of injury, illness or emergency during a Fit City event, I authorise the organisers to arrange such emergency medical treatment for the minor as may be reasonably necessary, at my expense. I accept responsibility for any associated medical costs and confirm that the medical information provided is accurate.
Media Release
I grant Fit City the right to use photographs, video and other media taken of the minor during events for promotional, marketing and educational purposes without further compensation or notification. I acknowledge that the minor may be photographed in the course of normal event activity.
